This video was produced not long after I started editing video digitally on my own in my home on my own equipment. I had embraced the concept of "microCinema." The idea was to produce short videos quickly for distribution on the web. I wanted to crank out as many videos as I could as quickly as I could. Since I had all the means right at my fingertips, this was very practical.

This video was the first in the series. I got a couple friends together. We whipped up a script and shot it in an afternoon. I had it edited and ready to go that night. It was exactly how I wanted "microCinema" to work. Bing bang boom, no muss no fuss. I thought it was an outright success.

There were a couple problems with cranking these out and making a series. The biggest impediment was getting people together. These guys were happy to do it that one time, but they didn't have much of an appetite for going through this over and over again. Unfortunately I didn't have a very deep pool of talent to call upon. So the series never wound up materializing, and this was pretty much a one-off.
